DISCOMFORT CELEBRATED IN IF! ITALIANS FESTIVAL MULTI-SUBJECT CREATIVE CAMPAIGN

Yet again this year a creative campaign across print and video is promoting IF! Italians Festival. Featuring saddleless bicycles, wobbly chairs, awkward postures and splashes of mismatching colours, the multi-subject campaign is a visible interpretation of the 2019 edition #StayUncomfortable with its three concepts – Vernice, Vestiti, Bicicletta (Paint, Clothes, Bicycle) – each one stylistically different to the other and each with its own photographer. Bruna Rotunno, Riccardo Bagnoli and Mario Ermoli have used fragmented narration rather than linear storytelling so as to wrong-foot the viewer, in celebrating the Festival’s spirt of “discomfort”.

Creative directors Karim Bartoletti and Francesco Guerrera worked closely with technical partners Mandala Creative Productions and its team of photographers and videomakers, post-production studio Proxima Milano and with Adesiva Discografica, who provided the specially-written music. The campaign is on air from Wednesday 30th October on the networks of Grandi Stazioni Retail (content partner)and Telesia (media partner) across the whole country. The 10” versions of the spots will appear on maxi LED screens in the country’s major eight train stations for passenger flow: Milano Centrale, Roma Termini, Roma Tiburtina, Naples, Venice Santa Lucia, Bologna Centrale, Turin and Florence, for a total of 427 individual airings per day. The 15” versions will air 73 times per day on Telesia Metro Milan and 75 times on Telesia Bus Milan.
